Frequently Asked Questions

How would you describe your style?

I love to capture candid moments. I’ll be there for you throughout the day but I wont make you pose or act a certain way. I want you to look back on your films and feel exactly how you did in that very moment.

How long does it take to receive our films?

I work very hard in making every film feel unique and true to how the day felt. This takes time, sometimes up to 20 hours of editing per highlight film. I only book a limited number of weddings per year so I’m not rushed in the editing process. My normal turnaround time is under 90 days.

Do you like to travel?

I LOVE to travel! I’ve filmed weddings all over Hawaii and the mainland. Any excuse to jump on a plane and explore a new place excites me!

Will you be the one filming and editing our wedding?

From the first email, to filming your wedding, to post production and editing, I’ll be the one working with you the whole time. I feel it’s very important to capture the feel and uniqueness that is you two in every film. This can’t be achieved if I’m left out of any part.

Do you film alone?

Except for elopements, I always bring along a second shooter. We work together to capture every special moment throughout the day even when we are apart. My goal is to capture every important detail but not be in the way. For this reason I don’t have a whole crew of cinematographers with me.

Can we purchase all of the RAW, unedited footage from our wedding?

Yes, you can purchase all of the unedited audio and video from your wedding day. It’s a great way to look back at the moments that may not have made it to the final highlight film. I spend many hours editing and color grading my films though so if you want the polished product, definitely purchase the add-on films also.

How do we book our date?

A signed contract and $500 deposit reserves your date. The final payment is due before or on the wedding day. You can also purchase certain add-ons even after the wedding day.
